We will be having a 2 hour data server outage tomorrow, begining at 18:00 UT . During this outage we will be replacing a CPU that failed this past weekend as well as an ethernet interface that is beginning to fail. We'll take this opportunity to perform some system software upgrades as well. We all know this probably means a week of outright down time, with another two weeks of spotty coverage. Especially the last sentence about "System Software Upgrades". If you're not on a cache, now would be a good time!

I would not be surprised if it goes 6-8 hours or even longer. By the looks of it, they plan on doing a few things at one time. That can spell disaster in my book.
